In a stunning show of total betrayal of their constitutional rights to appeal government as well as disdain for the low to middle income families that will be discriminated against and blocked from ever filing a Rule 106 Appeal of their local government, House Representatives voted to pass the Developers Rule Bill. Representative DeGraaf was the only representative who spoke publicly of the rights of citizens trying to persuade his colleagues to vote against it. We thank him for his leadership. Below are all the State Representatives who voted against your Constitutional rights. We encourage you to let them know how you feel about this, and especially reach out to your Senators. We will post the date and time of the Senate Committee hearing so you can email and sign up to comment and be heard. Many community members have filed complaints with the ACLU for discrimination of marginalized groups this bill imposes. Please file your own complaint and ask them to send a letter to the State Legislators telling them they will sue for violation of constitutional and civil rights discriminating against low to middle income families which will squander taxpayer money on lawsuits versus using tax dollars to improve the lives of Coloradans. Representative Lendstadt would be the person to include in the complaint. Here is his contact information for the online form: https://leg.colorado.gov/legislators/william-lindstedt
